Our Junior Leadership Team
Junior Leadership Team
Our pupil leadership team allows students to ensure their voices and opinions are heard.
Students apply for the positions and present a speech, other pupils within the school then vote for who they want to represent them.
The Leadership Team consists of the Head Boy and Head Girl, Deputy Head Boy and Girl, Heads of Houses (Rosen, Benjamin, Wilson and Donaldson) along with "Core Value Champions" for each of our 9 core values.
As the new Head Boy of Scotts Park I thought it was important to introduce myself to you all and tell you why I wanted to take on this role. My name is Matthew. When I started school in reception, I looked up to the Head Boy and I knew that one day I wanted to have the opportunity to influence others in the same way that he had influenced me. I know that as Head Boy I am just a representative of all the children at Scotts Park and I think it is really important to listen to everyone’s ideas and points of view. This way everyone will have a chance to be heard. You never know where good ideas will come from. I would like to take these ideas and work on bringing them to life. I am really excited about the rest of the year ahead.
Hi! My name is Erin. I wanted to be head girl because I felt I had the qualities and ability to be a role model for younger years and help lead the pupils of Scotts Park. I love taking part in different activities and feel it is best to experience as many opportunities as possible when I am younger, so in future, I have the skills to adapt to the different challenges of life. Helping others is something I extremely enjoy, therefore I felt the role of head girl would be a rewarding position for me. During my time in this role, I would love for the pupils around me to feel they have had a happy and fulfilling experience at primary school and I promise to do everything in my power to assist each child in their learning journey.
Hi! My name is Camilla and I am the Deputy Head girl! I’m so excited to get this job. When I was in the younger year groups, I looked up to the Head girl and Deputy Head girl and I hope you will feel the same about me. I haven’t always found school easy and I want to help anyone that might feel as I did. Look at me now! I can’t wait to start! My name is Thomas and I am the new Deputy Head Boy, I wanted to tell you a little about myself. I have always liked helping others and trained as a peer mediator which meant that I could help other children who were having problems at playtime. I am a good team player and I think that the Junior leadership team will work well together. I was so excited to hear my name called and I am so happy to have this role. I will do my best to be a good representative of the school and role model to the younger children.
