SEND
Miss Anderson is our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENDCo) and Inclusion Manager. She can be emailed at admin@scottspark.info.
At Scotts Park the children are at the heart of all that we do. We recognise that all children are different and therefore we recognise the educational needs are also different. All children regardless of needs are entitled to an education that delivers a broad and balanced curriculum which promotes high standards and ambitious outcomes. Our aim is to ensure all children have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential regardless of their starting points and barriers to learning. We achieve this by first understanding the child and their needs. We make adaptations, put provisions in place and provide quality first teaching. This is continually monitored for effectiveness and altered accordingly. We believe working in partnership with the child, parents/carers and other agencies ensures the best outcomes are achieved.
